Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this RC Manufacturing G Series Chest Toolbox. It's a bright aluminum construction and it's got 15 cubic foot of space. So starting off folks, this has an impressive 60 inch long length, so five feet long and it is 24 inches wide on the width, if you we inchesre on the side like I am, and for a height, it's 19 inches top to bottom. Now this has a nice, automotive grade diamond plate design, as you can see, and it's a simple open, one handle. Either side, it's gonna open it, and as you can see, or hear possibly, it's a gas strut assisted open or close.

So you have two gas struts in there. They're gonna keep it held in place wherever you put it at. Now this is totally open right now. However, you do have three different holes on both sides. You could potentially make it stay a little bit closed if you want.

Right now, I've got it on the highest setting, so that's as high open as it's gonna open. So again, aluminum, lightweight, 73 pounds. It has 15 cubic foot of capacity. You can fit nice big tools and everything in it. You can fit chain binders, chains, whatever you need.

Now, I don't know if you can see too well, but on the back corners around the gas struts, you have protective housing that they've built around it. I like that feature, it's pretty smart if you ask me. A lot of times on my pickup truck, I have an option where I don't have these and unfortunately, sometimes I get straps and stuff caught into that and every once in a while it seems to like, get caught up on something. Maybe it doesn't open all the way and I gotta kind of get in there carefully and get it out. And then same thing on the front.

So that crossbar that goes from the front to the left on the cross member here, this one has a built-in L bracket that covers the whole rod. So you can't see that rod because it's hidden and it's safe behind that L bracket. So again, same thing. Nothing's getting up there, binding that rod, keeping stuff from preventing this to open and unlock. Now coming to the front, you have two paddles, one on both sides. This is the driver. You're gonna get four keys total, two for each lock. It is key to lock, it is locked to the same lock number. Simply close it, gently push down, you hear a latch and we're latched. Same thing, one latch either side will open the whole unit. Now it does have an automotive grade seal around the whole lid and that's gonna be great to protect your gear from anything mother nature throws at you while she's creeping in, on days when you're not expecting it. It's gonna prevent anything like road spray, weather, those kind of things from getting in there and messing with your stuff and getting everything all grimy and dirty.
